classic power training the body uses a singular muscle group
in order to move weight on a machine. In functional exercises,
the training works various muscles of the body all at the same
time in order to move the weight. As a result, the trainee
concentrates on his/hers own body and breathing techniques. This
allows the body to relax and go to work mastering functional
movement needed in everyday life. Various equipment, like kettlebells,
dumbbells, and cable machines add moving weight to the body while
stabilizing on therapy balls and Bosu half balls. All levels
of fitness are addressed; whether to train for balance to reduce
falling or balance to excel in sports. Call
